Here is my first (and last, I think,) wings tutorial, and my first wings. I made them for my Nefertiri- Soom Topaz.

I hope you will understand me (or maybe pics tell you better what to do XD).

Well, what you will need:
1.Chiffon – I used black chiffon,
2.The wire,
3.Glue – super glue or something similar,
4.Magic glue – or similar glue;
5.Hot glue + pistol,
6.Black thread,
7.Silver thread,
8.Silver brocade/ glitter,
9.2 neodymium magnets,
10.The lighter,
11.The transparent lacquer with brocade/ glitter,
12.Piece of black cotton fabric,
13.The decorated „buckle”,
14.Pinking shears,
15.Camera,
16.Time and patience ;)




1.You have to make wings frame from wire.



2.Put the chiffon on the wings frame and stick it with super glue. Now you have to wait a second.



3.Cut off the excess of chiffon and burn endings of the fabric- it should melt a little. But don’t burn it all! XD





4.Wrap up endings on the wire and sew on round- oversew. Stretch chiffon lightly. Use black thread.





5.Now do the same with the silver thread, but you have to oversew tight.





6.The longissimus tutorial part is already behind you.



7.Draw on paper how should your wings look like, and do the same on wings with magic glue.



8.Strew the glue with the brocade and leave on several minutes. Pour the excess of the brocade.



9.Repeat step 7 and 8 at the back of the wings.



10.Go outdoors and sprinkle wings with lacquer. Hang them to the exsiccation and ventilations. It takes 2-3 hours.



11.Piece together both wings.



12.Stick one neodymium magnet with hot glue to the wings, and one inside of the doll, on her back.

Advert that magnets should attract themselves, not push away ;)



13.Sew „the cap” for the magnet. You will cover the magnet with it and it will look better, I think :]





14.Sew on the buckle on external side of wings.





And my other wings :)
